Higher Education Council to discuss universities’ situation

AMMAN — The Higher Education Council will hold an urgent session at 4pm on Tuesday to discuss the repercussions of the latest incidents at Balqa, Mutah and Al al Bayt universities and their causes.

Higher Education Minister Labib Khadra said university gatherings or rallies to demand rights should reflect the civilised reputation of professors, employees and students and should cause no harm to any parties or individuals.
