AMMAN — The Higher Council for Affairs of Persons with Disabilities (HCD) and the Education Ministry on Wednesday signed two memoranda of understanding, with the first aiming at providing facilities necessary to integrate students with disabilities in public schools.
The second memo aims at transferring the authority of direct financial support of individuals working at educational centres from HCD to the ministry, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
HH Prince Mired, HCD president, and Education Minister Omar Razzaz signed the memos. Prince Mired said that education is the first step to enjoy other rights stipulated in the Constitution and laws.
