Hawari lauds Qatar's support for Jordan’s health sector

AMMAN — Health Minister Feras Al Hawari and Director General of Qatar Fund for Development (QFD) Khalifa Jassim Al Kuwari on Tuesday discussed means to advance Jordanian-Qatari cooperation, notably in the health sector.

Hawari lauded the QFFD’s support for the Jordan Refugee Health Fund totaling $4.2 million.

The support helped the Kingdom’s health sector deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for refugees in the Kingdom, he added.

Kuwari reiterated his country’s readiness to support the Kingdom’s health sector and enhance Doha-Amman cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
