Hashemite Scientific Councils begin activities

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Feisal inaugurated the activities of this year’s Hashemite Scientific Councils on Friday.

The first meeting was held at the King Abdullah I Mosque under the theme “Integrity and Transparency Standards in Sharia”.

It gathered Muslim scholars and Islamic law professors from Jordan, and other Arab and Muslim countries.

The Awqaf Ministry organises the Hashemite Scientific Councils during Ramadan every year.
