Hashemite Scientific Council to examine integrity standards in Sharia

AMMAN — The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is scheduled to organise the first Hashemite Scientific Council on Friday titled “Integrity and Transparency Standards in Sharia [Islamic law]” at the King Abdullah I Mosque.

Awqaf Minister Hayel Dawood said Arab and Muslim intellectuals and scholars will participate in the council’s meetings.

The conference will examine how Islam focuses on transparency and integrity as a means to achieve social justice.
