Hashd to run in parliamentary elections

AMMAN — The Jordanian People’s Democratic Party (Hashd) said on Sunday it is going to run in the upcoming Lower House elections, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Hashd tasked its politburo with following up on the necessary procedures, especially in regards to forming national coalitions on the basis of a national reform and democracy programme that meets the demands of Jordanians.

The central committee of the party stressed the importance of forming such coalitions to achieve a vast and fair representation in Parliament.
