Hammad says Interior Ministry supports GAM projects

AMMAN — The Interior Ministry and security institutions support development projects implemented by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Minister Salameh Hammad said on Sunday.

At a meeting with Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji to discuss GAM projects, Hammad said service and productive projects, and population growth in the capital require planning to overcome challenges, particularly traffic jams, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Biltaji and other GAM officials reviewed the Bus Rapid Transit project and its importance to the development of the transport system, noting that the project would alleviate traffic jams.
