Hammad meets Qatari envoy

AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Sunday met with Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Bin Jassim Al Thani.

During the meeting, Hammad hailed the Amman-Doha ties, stressing the need for continuous coordination between the two sides on the counterterrorism front, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

For his part, the ambassador lauded the role of Jordanian security forces in providing security training, reiterating the need for strengthening cooperation.
