Hammad hosts Palestinian Civil Defence Department chief over cooperation

AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Thursday met Palestinian Civil Defence Department (PCD) Director Maj. Gen. Yousef Nassar over enhancing training cooperation and the exchange of expertise.

Hammad said that the Palestinian cause has topped the Kingdom’s political agenda at regional and international levels since the late King Abdullah I’s reign, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director Lt. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah, who attended the meeting, affirmed that the CDD is prepared to provide all support necessary in training the PCD’s personnel.

Nassar praised the Kingdom’s positions at international forums, highlighting the need to expand Jordanian-Palestinian cooperation.
