Halaseh checks on school projects in Amman

AMMAN — Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh on Monday visited school projects under construction. Halaseh said there are around 33 school projects in Amman, including new schools being built and renovations to existing ones, at a cost of JD41 million, according to a ministry statement.

The Saudi fund for Development, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, the World Bank and European Central Bank are the main contributors financing these projects through grants, the minister said, noting there are some 200 similar projects across the Kingdom.
