AMMAN —The government on Friday condemned the terrorist attack that took place in the Pakistani region of Parachinar and claimed the lives of several people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said that the "heinous attack is a new evidence" of the deviant thought of terrorist organisations targetting innocent civilians all over the world.
He expressed Jordan’s condolences to the Pakistani government and to the families of the victims.
At least 22 people were killed and 57 wounded Friday when a car bomb tore through a market in Parachinar, capital of Kurram tribal district, officials said, in an attack claimed by the Taliban, according to Agence France-Presse.
