Gov’t communications minister meets with local radio journalists

AMMAN — Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaidin on Tuesday met with news broadcasters and producers of radio programmes to acquaint them with His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts in rallying international support to halt the war on Gaza and deliver medical and relief aid to the strip.

Mubaidin said that His Majesty, during his European tour, has managed to influence the Western discourse towards the war in Gaza, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He praised the professionalism of local radios in reporting events in Gaza, calling for providing more room for citizens to express their solidarity with Gazans.

For their part, attendees noted that their programmes focus on the situation in Gaza and broadcast events through direct contact with reporters there.
