AMMAN — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Monday issued a circular declaring a public holiday on Monday, May 25, on the occasion of Independence Day.

The holiday applies to ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and fully government-owned companies, according to a Prime Ministry statement.

Hassan also set the Eid Al Adha holiday from the morning of Tuesday, May 26, until the evening of Saturday, May 30.

The circulars exclude entities whose work requires otherwise.
