AMMAN — The Government Accelerators Centre on Thursday held a ceremony to celebrate overcoming the “third batch” of challenges related to government service.

The third batch included four challenges that have been addressed by the government's accelerator teams, including the following resolutions: A document related to managing the enforcement of Jalwa (forced relocation) was activated; financial liquidity of the Cities and Villages Development Bank was ensured, meeting compliance obligations; the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission was linked with the Ministry of Local Administration; and automated payments related to the commission have been implemented, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During a ceremony hosted by the Prime Ministry and attended by Minister of State for Follow-up and Government Coordination Nawaf Tall, the fourth set of challenges to be addressed was announced. This batch focuses on the adoption of a unified procurement policy for all cyber security products within government apparatuses, the implementation of green growth plans by the regulatory ministries for the 2021-2025 period, and the establishment of an e-platform to align Jordanian higher education institutions with the needs of the labor market.

The Government Accelerators Centre is a result of strategic partnership and cooperation though a government modernisation agreement between the Kingdom and the UAE.
