Gov’t human rights coordinator meets US official

AMMAN — Basel Tarawneh, the government’s coordinator on human rights, on Sunday met with Margaret McKeown, judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Tarawneh said the government as implemented several measures to safeguard human rights. McKeown voiced the US’ readiness to cooperate in the field of human rights.
