German Jordanian University, CPF sign agreement to promote volunteerism

AMMAN — The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) on Thursday signed an agreement meant to encourage university students to participate in volunteer work and promote a culture of social responsibility.
The agreement, signed by the university president, Alaeddin Al Halhouli, and CPF CEO Tamam Mango, includes the activation of the "Nahno" platform, a national platform for volunteering and youth engagement.
A CPF initiative, the Nahno platform was launched in partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Youth, and will now be implemented at the GJU, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The platform maintains records of the volunteer work and hours completed.
