AMMAN — The German embassy in Amman on Sunday night held a reception on the occasion of the country’s national day, attended by a number of guests and the embassy's partners from the fields of culture, archaeology, academia and media.
During the ceremony, German Ambassador Bernhard Kampmann stressed the "deep-rooted" partnership between Jordan and Germany, noting that the relations between the countries, which started upon the establishment of the Kingdom, will continue after the formation of the new government, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Due to the pandemic, and to maintain public health, the embassy in Amman has held several small receptions since October 3 (the German Unity Day) and will continue to until November 9 (anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall).
