Gendarmerie chief meets Bahraini ambassador over cooperation

AMMAN — Gendarmerie Department Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Monday discussed with Bahrain Ambassador to Jordan Ahmed Al Rowaiei ways of enhancing cooperation between the department and its Bahraini counterpart, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Hawatmeh stressed the deep-rooted bilateral ties, highlighting the gendarmerie forces’ support to their Bahraini counterpart, especially in training, preparation and exchange of expertise.

Rowaiei praised the level of the Jordanian Gendarmerie, expressing his country's keenness to strengthen the relationship between the forces of both countries.
