Fund board names winners of distinguished researcher award

RAMTHA — The Scientific Research Support Fund (SRSF) on Monday named the winners of the distinguished researcher award in two fields.

During a meeting chaired by Higher Education Minister Amin Mahmoud, the SRSF board decided that the distinguished researcher award in the field of medical and pharmaceutical sciences will go to Karem Hassan Al Zu’bi from the pharmacology faculty at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST).

The second award went to Mohammad Harahsheh of JUST’s engineering faculty.

Nine researchers from various Jordanian universities applied for the award in the field of medical and pharmaceutical sciences while six researchers applied for the engineering field award.
