French investment firm to open office in Amman

AMMAN — Minister of State for Investment Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh confirmed that Meridiam, a global investor and asset manager based in Paris, will open its first regional office in Amman, according to a Jordan Investment Commission statement.
Shehadeh pointed out that Meridiam is currently running assets worth $6.8 million, in addition to 70 projects under construction. He added that Meridiam is now investing $220 million at Queen Alia International Airport.
