Freihat meets with chief of Australian defence force

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Saturday received chief of the Australian Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Attended by the Australian ambassador and the Australian military attaché in Amman, Freihat and Binskin discussed several issues and ways of enhancing cooperation between the armed forces of both countries. Binskin and the delegation visited the Martyr's Memorial and listened to a brief history on the stages of establishing the memorial.

The air chief marshal laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and signed the guestbook.
