AMMAN — The Jordan University of Science and Technology's (JUST) Dentistry College, in cooperation with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development's (JOHUD) Goodwill Campaign, on Monday organised a free medical day in Irbid, in the presence of HRH Princess Basma, president of the Goodwill Campaign’s higher committee.

During the event, Princess Basma lauded the initiative that reflects JUST's commitment to social solidarity, while commending the university's dentistry college, students and faculty members, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

She also toured the educational dental centre at the university, meeting a number of beneficiaries. Besides dental care for the elderly, the campaign provided specialised clinics for internal medicine and cardiology, with free sight and hearing check-ups offered by the Shami Eye Centre and Jordan Hearing Centre.
