Four suspects arrested, drugs seized in south Amman

AMMAN — Gendarmerie and Public Security Department (PSD) personnel on Sunday arrested four suspects who were reportedly in possession of narcotics and a firearm in south Amman, according to a PSD statement.

A suspect classified as “very dangerous” was tracked and arrested in a raid, along with another three suspects who were found in three vehicles near his house, the PSD said.

The arrests took place without injuries. In the vehicles, the personnel found an amount of narcotic pills and hashish, in addition to the firearm, and an investigation was launched, the statement added.
