Former foreign minister Nasser Judeh honoured by Spain

AMMAN — Spanish King Felipe VI has awarded Senator Nasser Judeh the Order of Civil Merit with the rank of Commander Knight in recognition of his role and efforts in promoting relations between the two kingdoms during his term as Jordan’s top diplomat.
During a ceremony held on this occasion on Tuesday evening in Amman, Judeh received the medal from Spanish Ambassador to the Kingdom Aránzazu Bañón, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. In a speech she delivered at the ceremony, held at her residence.
For his part, Judeh praised the gesture to honour his diplomatic efforts and vowed commitment to further fostering relations between the two countries.
