Foreign Ministry monitors murder of Jordanian citizen in USA

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Thursday that it is monitoring an incident involving the death of a Jordanian citizen in Chicago, USA, following an armed robbery, according to a ministry statement. Director of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Foreign Ministry Sufian Qudah said that the Jordanian Embassy in Washington is in contact with US authorities regarding the ongoing investigations of this tragic incident. The Jordanian Embassy in Washington has initiated official procedures to repatriate the body of the deceased to Jordan in coordination with his family, Qudah added. He also expressed condolences for the family of the deceased.
