FM, US assistant secretary of state talk ties, region

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and David Schenker, Assistant Secretary of Near Eastern Affairs at the US Department of State, on Tuesday went over means to develop the strategic partnership between the two countries and voiced keenness to further develop it at all levels.

Safadi and Schenker also reviewed the latest developments in the region and efforts to address Middle East crises, as well as the importance of sustaining cooperation between Jordan and the US to realise regional security and stability, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
