AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Thursday met with Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Education and Foreign Affairs of Singapore Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman.

The two ministers stressed the solidity of relations between the two countries, discussing prospects for developing them in several fields, including education, trade, tourism, investment and technical training.

The two ministers affirmed the need to continue exchanging technical expertise as well as cultural and student exchange, and develop institutionalised cooperation in the youth sector.

The two sides also reviewed several regional and international issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.

Safadi highlighted the gravity of the escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

He also underlined the need to cease all Israeli military operations and provocative measures against Palestinians as well as stop all illegal measures that undermine the two-state solution.
