FM, Bahrain counterpart talk ties, region

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al Zayani on Monday discussed means to further enhance cooperation between the two kingdoms in various fields.

The two ministers highlighted the importance of boosting cooperation at various levels in a way that reflects “strategic brotherly” relations in implementation of both countries’ leaderships, according to a ministry statement issued on Tuesday.

Safadi and Zayani reviewed the latest regional developments and efforts exerted to enhance joint Arab action in facing mutual challenges and in service of Arab causes.

The two top diplomats also agreed to sustain consultation and coordination towards these developments and endeavours to resolve regional crises in a bid to realise comprehensive peace, security and stability.
