First day of Eid Al Adha marked for August 11

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s Grand Mufti Mohammad Khalaileh on Thursday announced that Friday marks the 1st of Dhul Hijja 1440, corresponding with August 2.
Based on that, Khalaileh added that the first day of Eid Al Adha will be on Sunday, August 11, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
