Firefighters extinguish blaze in shopping centre

AMMAN — The Civil Defence Department (CDD) on Sunday extinguished a fire that erupted in two clothes shops on the second floor of a commercial complex in Hai Nazzal in Amman.

No one was hurt in the fire, which spread over 50 square metres and caused financial damage, the CDD said in a statement. A committee has been formed to investigate the cause of the fire.
