Fire breaks out in house, 1 killed, 3 injured

AMMAN — A girl was killed and three people were injured on Wednesday morning after a fire broke out in their home in southerm Mazzar district of Karak Governorate, according to a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement.

CDD personnel managed to administer first aid to the injured, who suffered smoke inhalation, before transferring them to Prince Ali Military Hospital. The body of the deceased was moved to Karak Public Hospital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The CDD media office added that the injured were listed in moderate condition.
