Fayez, Tarawneh receive popular movement representatives

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Tuesday stressed the importance of being internally united to preserve the country’s security and stability in light of the turbulence in the region, calling for countering hate speech, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Fayez made his remarks during a meeting at the Senate with representatives of popular movements. Also on Tuesday, Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh received the representatives and said Jordan is a key ally in defending the Palestinians’ rights.
