Fayez meets with members of foreign parliaments

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez, on the sidelines of the third meeting of the Speakers of the Parliaments of Eurasia, on Wednesday met with several participating speakers.

The meetings focused on means of enhancing parliamentary relations as well as economic and investment cooperation with between the respective countries.

The event was hosted by Antalya, Turkey, and went over the repercussions of the Syria refugee crisis on Jordan and the Kingdom’s need for international support to enable it sustain a humanitarian role in serving refugees, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Fayez’s meetings with the heads of parliaments of Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Qatar and Iraq also focused on the latest regional developments and the war on terrorism.
