Fayez arrives in UAE for several-day trip

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Tuesday night arrived in the UAE, heading a Senate delegation, after receiving an official invitation from President of the Emirati Federal National Council Amal Al Qubaisi.

Fayez’s several-day visit is part of both countries’ efforts to enhance ties in the economic, political, investment and parliamentary fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Senate president is scheduled to meet with senior Emirati officials to discuss regional developments, especially the Syrian crisis and its repercussions on Jordan.
