Faraiah, British ambassador talk ties, security cooperation

AMMAN — Interior Minister Mazen Faraiah and British Ambassador Bridget Brend on Tuesday discussed means of furthering the two countries’ cooperation, notably in the fields of security and police.

Faraiah, during the meeting, lauded the two kingdoms “solid ties”, highlighting the necessity of continuing expertise exchange in the field of security, as well as holding training programmes and organising visits to increase cooperation and coordination to fight crime.

The diplomat reiterated her country’s commitment to supporting Amman, commending Jordan’s supportive stances for peace and stability
