Fallen air force pilot promoted

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Thursday to posthumously promote Royal Jordanian Air Force pilot Ayed Daajah to the rank of lieutenant colonel, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Daajah died on Monday when his F-16 aircraft crashed during a training mission. An army statement said the crash was due to a malfunction.
