Fakhoury meets Qatari minister, French ambassador

AMMAN — Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury on Wednesday met with Qatari Minister of Development Planning and Statistics Saleh Nabit and discussed scopes of bilateral cooperation.

Both ministers voiced keenness to develop ties, according to a ministry statement. Also on Wednesday, Fakhoury met with French Ambassador to Jordan David Bertolotti and reviewed ways to boost relations.

The minister denounced the Paris terrorist attacks and expressed his condolences to the French ambassador. The two sides discussed proposals to adopt a comprehensive framework for dealing with the repercussions of the Syrian crisis, according to a ministry statement.
