EU Council lifts travel restrictions on Jordan

AMMAN — The EU Council on Thursday decided to lift travel restrictions imposed on Jordan starting from July 1, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry announced.
The ministry, in a statement, said that the decision comes as a result of the improvement witnessed in the Kingdom’s epidemiological situation as well as the intensified efforts exerted by the ministry and the Kingdom’s embassies in contact with the EU and its member states.
