Environment minister participates in Ministerial Meeting on Climate Change in Copenhagen

AMMAN — Environment Minister Muawieh Radaideh is participating in the Ministerial Meeting on Climate Change in the Danish capital Copenhagen, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Over a period of two days, the conference will focus on practical actions needed to advance progress in implementing commitments in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Paris Agreement, previous Conferences of the Parties, and most recently the Glasgow Climate Pact and initiatives.
A group of countries representing a range of interests and perspectives will participate in the meeting, focusing on accelerating implementation of the Paris Agreement, the key commitments included in the Sustainable Glasgow Charter and related declarations of COP26.
