Ensour highlights Sino-Jordanian ties

AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Saturday received Xinhua News Agency Editor-in-Chief He Ping and an accompanying delegation.
At the meeting, attended by Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications, Mohammad Momani, the premier asserted the progress of Sino-Jordanian relations and highlighted the Kingdom’s press freedom and political development.
At a separate meeting with the delegation from China’s state media, Momani stressed the importance of cooperation between media outlets in the two countries.
Through Xinhua, which has a regional office in Amman, Jordan hopes to become more acquainted with the political, economic and cultural scene of China, the minister told the delegates.
