Energy minister calls for raising Risheh gas field production

AMMAN — Energy Minister Mohammad Hamed called on the National Petroleum Company (NPC) to raise the production capacity of the Risheh gas field.
The field’s production decreased from 35 to around 14 million cubic feet used to produce electricity.
During his meeting with the NPC board of directors, Hamed criticised the low level of the field’s production.
The minister said that such deterioration has consequences.
