AMMAN — Enabel Jordan launched a four-day workshop, taking place from July 10-13, with the objective of improving the digital marketing capabilities of its national implementing partner, the National Company for Training and Employment (NET).
The comprehensive workshop is centred on digital marketing, aiming to provide NET personnel with the essential knowledge and tools needed to enhance their skill set in marketing, advertising and managing paid campaigns on popular social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Google Ads/SEO as well as many other capabilities related to today’s digitised era, according to a statement from the organisers.
Duccio Ferraro, Enabel Intervention, expressed the organisation’s satisfaction in providing such workshops on e-marketing skills for one of its key partners to the Qudra 2 project framework.
“We aim to enhance the capacities of NET’s workforce and refine their competencies to effectively promote the NET brand, products and services through online and digital communication,” said Ferraro.
“This training aligns with Enabel’s primary objective of offering high-quality, tailored training and capacity-building workshops to upgrade the expertise of implementing partners in the TVET and entrepreneurship ecosystem,” Ferraro added.
Malik Ali, capacity building officer, emphasised that the workshop aims to strengthen the company’s ability to market its services digitally on the Internet and social media.
“Such workshops intend to build the capacity of NET’s staff to instil these marketing skills among the youth and adolescents participating in the company’s training programmes,” he said.
Ali also mentioned that since its inception, 24 trainings have been conducted, including the upcoming digital marketing course. These trainings have benefitted over 300 employees, equipping them with valuable skills and knowledge to enhance their professional growth and contribute to the success of their respective organisations.
One of Enabel’s objectives is to tackle the skills gap in the Jordanian labour market and address the high unemployment rates among young graduates and vulnerable populations through the promotion of public-private partnerships in human capital development, the statement said.
The Qudra 2 programme, co-financed by the European Union, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), aims to strengthen resilience for Syrian refugees, IDPs, returnees and host communities affected by the Syrian and Iraqi crises. It focuses on promoting sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurship and job creation to support the socioeconomic well-being of the target groups.
