EMRC calls on Arab regulatory bodies to support Palestine’s power grid system

AMMAN — Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) Ziad Saideh expressed EMRC's commitment to boosting partnerships to enhance cooperation and provide technical support to Palestine, according to an EMRC statement on Tuesday.
Saideh stressed the importance of exchanging expertise during his meeting with the head of the Electricity Regulatory Authority in Palestine, which took place on the sidelines of the Arab Electricity Regulators Forum in Dubai.
Saideh urged the forum’s participating countries to support Palestine in developing and modernising its power grid.
The chairman stressed the EMRC's keenness to foster ongoing collaboration with Arab and international regulatory bodies, with the aim of facilitating the exchange of expertise and developing the skills and capabilities of staff in the sector.
