Employment drive secures jobs for 8,434 people

AMMAN — Around 8,434 people found jobs until October 11 through the third National Employment Campaign, which focused on remote areas, Labour Minister Nidal Katamine said at a meeting on Tuesday with Trade Minister Hatem Halawani and Planning Minister Ibrahim Saif to discuss ways to increase investment and productive projects in remote areas.
The ministers gave industrial and commercial sectors, and employment funds 10 days to share their ideas on projects in remote areas that would reduce poverty and unemployment.
