Election commission issues candidature booklet

AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Sunday issued a booklet, titled “Your guide to running for elections”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The booklet contains all necessary information on the conditions for candidacy, required credentials, and fees for applications and contestations.

The booklet also has information on conditions of election campaigns, polling, counting of votes and announcement of results. The commission called on those interested to obtain the booklet from the centres announced on IEC’s official website, as of Monday.
