Election commission assures accessibility for people with disabilities

AMMAN — Independent Election Commission (IEC) Chairperson Khaled Kalaldeh on Thursday said the commission has provided the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in the upcoming local elections slated for August 15.

IEC has prepared special aisles, including the ground floors of some polling and counting centres, and allocated parking spaces for people with disabilities. The commission has also ensured the use of sign language in its publications.
