Education Ministry marks World Teachers' Day

AMMAN — On the occasion of the World Teachers' Day, the Ministry of Education on Tuesday honoured a number of distinguished teachers. During the ceremony, Minister of Education Mohammad Abu Qudais highlighted the importance His Majesty King Abdullah attached to education sector and teachers, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Abu Qudais added that Jordanian teachers have contributed in pushing forward the growth and development wheel since the establishment of the Jordanian state. On the sidelines of the event, the minister attended the opening of an art exhibition on the occasion of Jordan's centennial, Petra added.
