AMMAN — The Education Ministry on Saturday issued a circular to its directorates across the Kingdom pertaining to face mask regulations.
The regulations take into consideration the epidemiological status and the rapid spread of the virus in the country, calling on students and teachers who suffer from chronic health conditions that weaken immunity to opt for remote education.
Children who suffer from high temperature, throat pain should not be sent to schools, according to the circular, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Pupils aged less than five years old are not required to wear masks due to their inability to deal with masks, while students over the age of 12 are obliged to wear masks, Petra added.
