ECRF, HEAC address smoking in higher-education institutions

AMMAN — HH Princess Dina Mired, honorary president of EORTC Cancer Research Fund (ECRF), on Thursday visited the Higher Education Accreditation Commission (HEAC).

Princess Dina and HEAC President Thafer Sarairah discussed smoking in higher-education institutions and ways to limit the phenomenon through various monitoring agencies, including HEAC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The princess praised the role of the commission in following up on measures to increase the quality of the learning environment in higher education institutions. Sarairah stressed HEAC's readiness to cooperate with all stakeholders to reduce smoking at educational institutions.
