Economic Modernisation Vision main pillar for comprehensive reform — Sharkas

AMMAN — The Economic Modernisation Vision, which will be a national roadmap across governments, is a key pillar of the comprehensive reform, Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan Adel Sharkas said on Thursday.

Speaking during a dialogue session organised by the Association of Banks in Jordan to discuss the role of the financial markets and services sector in seeing economic modernisation, Sharks said that the document is meant to boost economic growth through enhancing partnership between public and private sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also stressed the importance of the session in enhancing the role of the banking sector in realising the vision and stressing the need for unifying financial sectors' efforts to achieve the objectives of the vision.
